Check your local listings if you have cable television for Animal Planet as it should start airing the new series Going Ape this month. It is airing in Toronto on Monday nights 8pm and Midnight. This is a 13 week series featuring three sanctuaries in Cameroon Africa caring for gorilla, chimpanzees and other primates. I have seen the program and find it very worth the time to watch. Hopefully you'll all get the opportunity to view it as well.

So far this isn't showing in the US as yet, finally airing in Canada so hopefully soon. It is very well done and unforgiving at times however no worse than Animal Cops. I heard from the CWAF project this weekend and another orphan has been received. A female gorilla about 8 months old, very frail, traumatized, and sick. She was found within a logging concession area, the same place two other orphans were located in the past. This makes the gorilla nursery busting at 10 individuals now. Please look at the below link, spread it around and help the project. We have 90 days to raise enough funds through this network to construct a new gorilla nursery, a much needed enclosure. Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated, we're all just pooling together, forwarding the request and doing what we can from this side of the globe. Thanks again!!
